Stars matter

For years, while developing private projects on github, I assumed that stars were a useless feature. Sure, github is a social coding platform, but I thought that resumed to comments, pull requests and avatars.

Some time after creating one of my pet projects, node-srcds-rcon, others started starring it. As it turns out, weekly npm installs increased accordingly and they weren't all bots.

Having received my first 20 stars on an open source project later, that showed some traction and determined me to resurrect and refactor it. It is now nicer, cleaner, easier to use.

Although the code is mine, it is you, the community, who made it better! Cheers for that!
